REALLY, Martha Stewart?

July 21, 2009

To make myself feel more inadequate in life, I subscribe to Martha Stewart's "Craft of the Day" Newsletter. I can't say that I have made even one craft that she's sent to me. Most of them don't even register with me as being necessary or even that interesting to me.

Until today.

Behold:"Dog Clean Up Bags.
Add some fun and fashion to everyday dog-cleanup bags."

REALLY, Martha Stewart?

A decorative poop bag? To make matters worse, she expects me to use an iron to make this. I don't even use an iron for its intended purposes, much less to make a cutesy bag for hauling my dog's handiwork.

Sorry, Tootie. It's not happening.

That is too funny!! And I plan on using my iron in a little while, but definitely not to make poop holding bags!!!

HA!! A decorative dog-poop bag seriously disturbing.

But what is this "iron" you speak of? I seem to remember a heavy box on the top shelf in my laundry room...hmmmm, will have to investigate further.

LOL! Oh, that's what I missed about being in blogland, you're fantastic sense of humor, my friend. Wow... you know you've got too much time on your hands (and also maybe too much dog poop) if you think this is a good idea.

Lol again... fantastic!

If I ever find my way to an iron again....it won't have anything to do with dog poo.

I have discovered that my hair straightener works great for collars, hems, sleeves and the bottom of my shorts!

Oh my goodness. You've got to be pretty insane to make one of those.

It seems that a lot of crafters are on some pipe high with their projects that they send out, like you noted there. I feel lucky to be carrying an old grocery store bag when I take the dog out!

And I have issues with the iron. If I HAVE to iron something, then I don't want it. I have a few outfits that someone else coerced me into getting (it makes you look 20 poulds lighter!), and after the first wash, it needed to be ironed. Yeah, I haven't worn those things in a while. They're still waiting for me to iron them...

OK, Martha has lost it.

Like she ever sat down and ironed herself out one of these to pick up dog poop. Like she would ever pick up her own dog's poop.

Right!

So you're saying you don't need pretty poop? Really?

First of all, it's crazy to decorate a poop bag, but it's beyond insane to actually iron it! Thanks for sharing, it made me laugh!
