As I understand addiction, the first step is to admit that you have a problem.

The problem with addiction is that the person cannot control their compulsion.

Overcoming addiction recognizes past mistakes.

It encourages you to learn from your mistakes.

It allows you to repair the errors of your past.

There is a process to recovery.

It can be a long, difficult process.

It is the addict's responsibility to help others recover from their addiction.
